EVERYDAY

Everyday, life changes for us all.  At times we have good moments and then unfortunately,  we have bad moments. As we live our lives, we worry about so much that goes on in our personal life, that we hardly stop and take the time, to reflect on exactly how it is affecting our body. All in all, STRESS is known to be a “silent killer” and it affects our overall health in both the mind and body

CAUSE AND AFFECT

Too much stress could result in physical problems, such as:

  1. Heart Disease
  2. Chest Pain
  3. High Blood Pressure
  4. Irregular Heartbeat
  5. Modifies the Blood Sugar Levels, resulting in fatigue
  6. Mood Swings
  7. Metabolic Syndrome, the main risk element of diabetes and heart attack

REST THE STRESS

Ironically, some stress can be a good thing for your body, but if you do not give yourself a break once in a while, your own body will force itself to take a break. Stress is considered a part of the evolutionary drive as it enables humans to survive. Stress sometimes increases the awareness of a person and improves their physical performance. However, we must take the proper actions to alleviate the unnecessary stress that can be harmful to us.

  1. WRITE
  2. LET YOUR FEELINGS OUT
  3. DO SOMETHING YOU ENJOY
  4. FOCUS ON THE PRESENT
  5. EXCERCISE
  6. SURROUND YOURSELF WITH POSITIVE PEOPLE
